Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐 - Bun time!

Yes it's the international renowned restaurant famous for their mini juicy pork buns (小籠包)
The traditional Shanghai-nese delicacy has been successfully brought to America.
Located in Bellevue, Washington, the restaurant is a comfortable place to sit and rest after a long day of shopping at the Bellevue Collection (with 4 buildings and 2 hotels, it's heaven for the shopaholic)

I've been visiting the place almost every time I visit Bellevue. The buns are almost perfect-even better than some of the ones I've eaten in China.
The skin is not too thick, doesn't break when you pick them up, and the "juicy" feel stays inside the bun.
All their wraps, including dumplings and buns, are all hand-kneaded. This method gives the bun a more bite.

The pork and shrimp dumplings are cooked hot and fresh with home-made dipping sauce-you can taste a full-sized jumbo shrimp in every dumpling :)

Original Milk Tea with Mango-flavored Popping Boba

The milk tea there is truly authentic - not too sweet, and doesn't have the milk powder feel like those milk tea served in some other bubble tea places. If you enjoy a bubble tea that's not too sweet, made with real milk and tea, then this would be the one.

Unfortunately Din Tai Fung does not take reservations, so I would suggest to go during a less busy time for efficient service and less wait.

Overall:
+: almost perfect juicy pork buns, handmade dough gives a "bite" feel
-: doesn't take reservations, may wait for a long time during busy hours
